They share a unique link. Their friend signs up through it — now they're linked in the system permanently.

The milestone gate fires (if set)

If you set a milestone, rewards only activate after your advocate has referred a minimum number of people. No milestone? Rewards activate immediately.

The reward trigger fires

Once the gate is cleared, rewards trigger based on your chosen mode — at signup, first spend, every spend, cumulative spend, or first qualifying receipt.

Your advocate earns points

Fixed points per referral, or points calculated on how much the referee spends — with an optional cap per transaction.

Do I need a milestone?

No. Leave it off and rewards activate as soon as your advocate makes a qualifying referral. Milestones are useful if you want to incentivise volume — e.g. only reward advocates who've referred at least 3 people.

Can I run without a loyalty program?

Yes. Referral runs independently. Your report will include a recommended starter setup.

Do milestone counts reset?

No. Milestone counts are cumulative and permanent. Invited users stay on record even if inactive. Each band fires once when the advocate's total referral count crosses its lower threshold.

Fixed points or per RM?

Both are supported. Fixed gives a flat reward per referral regardless of spend. Per RM scales the reward with how much the referee spends, with an optional cap per transaction.
